Granny’s Modern Garden – hexagon fractal

Got a bit carried away with colour in this one! The shape of the nine hexagon repeat (flower and leaves) is replicated in the quilting to make the overall design a fractal. The quilt and its predecessor (Granny’s Twisted Garden, see the hexagon tab) are in the QuiltWest exhibition which opens today.

  1. Congratulations on your success at Quiltwest 2016 Pat, Granny’s Modern Garden looks lovely hanging there along with your other quilts.
